The Glove Factory – Vicky and Andy
THE GLOVE FACTORY
It’s taken me a little while to get around to posting this but it’s so worth the wait! I am so excited to share these gorgeous shots with you all taken by the wonderfully talented Elaine Williams
I could honestly go on for hours writing about their beautiful wedding day but i’ll fill the blog with lots of gorgeous photos and you can see for yourselves, exactly why I could go on and on and on about it!
The Couple..
I absolutely love it when I sit down with couples to go through their wedding flowers and they know exactly the look they want to achieve on their wedding day and couples that have so much inspiration and love for the small details that make such a difference. I would have been a little worried if this weren’t the case with Andy and Vicky as Vicky is the marketing manager for Prezola and Andy is a graphic designer, therefore they both have great vision and it will explain why their wedding is so dreamy and Instagrammable!
S’mores and stuff..
Vicky grew up in New York and therefore they wanted to incorporate some little things that took her back to her childhood and growing up in America. S’mores over the outdoor fire pit and beautiful warm white festoon lights hung over the outdoor patio area where they lit up a pathway with sparklers in the evening.
The Little Details..
It wouldn’t be right to marry a chap called Andy without re-creating the whole Toy Story scene. Vicky’s gorgeous shoes from Kurt Geiger had the classic Andy under foot – a little detail that made me smile! If you haven’t seen Toy Story, it’s unlikely you will have a clue what I am on about.. But if that does happen to be the case.. stop reading this blog.. RIGHT NOW (resume later!) and go and watch it…
The Glove Factory in Holt is a beautiful little industrial style cafe literally placed in the middle of rolling hills in the countryside. The perfect spot to match their relaxed and rustic vibes that they wanted to create for their day back in October.
That dress..
Vicky found her dream two-piece dress at a local dress shop in Bradford on Avon. A little boutique that has so many dreamy dresses, you’ll end up with too many dresses to choose from. Flossy and Willow helped her find her beautiful Willowby by Watters number.
The cake was created by Sandra Monger, a Bath based cake designer, created their beautiful and unusual 3 tier marbled cake.
