Natalie and Michael – a year on..

Time is just passing me by in the blink of an eye.. Natalie and Michael were married last September at the beautiful Prior Park School chapel and I had to share a couple of shots with you all and to wish them both a Happy 1st Anniversary!
The Venue
As a florist, we often work at the same venues and it is always exciting when a couple come in to chat about their flowers and are holding the ceremony/reception at a venue that we have not worked at.
Strangely, even though it is 10 minutes from the shop, we had never created flowers for the chapel at Prior Park and all I can say is WOW.
What a chapel and location to get married! It has the most incredible views over the whole of Bath and is situated in the beautiful grounds of Prior Park School.
It only seems a couple of months ago that we created their wedding flowers but here we are, nearly a year on!
The weekend after their wedding that my partner whisked us off to the beautiful Lake Como and proposed to me on our hotel room balcony, overlooking the most beautiful lake and scenery!
We planned our wedding and book the venue by January and at the time, it felt forever away and we had so long to wait… Now we are on a 3.5 week countdown and I am so excited for our wedding day.
I adore white, ivory and green as a wedding colour combination, it such a clean and fresh look and it immediately becomes a dreamy combination when it incorporates the most divine scented David Austin Roses!
Anyway.. back to Natalie and Michael.
Natalie chose to have a waterfall style bridal bouquet for her big day and it smelt absolutely divine – the most beautiful combination of seasonal white and green flowers with complimenting seasonal foliage.

Shortly after Natalie and Michael’s wedding in September and having never worked with John Barwood before, he captured another lovely bride and grooms wedding day at the same venue in Bath and yet again, captured it so perfectly.
Sabina and Ed were also married at the beautiful Prior Park and also had their reception on the grounds. I will be sharing pictures soon!
