I had the pleasure to work on the most beautiful wedding a few weeks back and just had to share these photos with you. After posting a blog a few weeks back with a few sneaky photos on, I have now received the professional photos through from Kenny and Gemma’s beautiful wedding at Priston Mill on Saturday 22nd July 2016.
It’s so great to work with so many different people who supply their products/services for weddings in Bath and Bristol however it was especially lovely to work with Kristy Field (link below) who took these amazing shots of their special day – I’d highly recommend Kristy if you are looking for someone who has an eye for capturing the smallest and most special details throughout the day to the most important shots of the main event.
I met up with Gemma and Kenny over a year ago to chat through plans for their upcoming wedding held at one of my favourite venues, Priston Mill (Watermill). The happy couple were looking for various shades of pale pinks, ivory, a touch of fresh Lavender and soft grey and green foliage. As soon as I returned from the market and conditionned all of their beautiful wedding flowers I was instantly excited to get started on creating all of their designs for their wedding day.
Priston Mill is only 7 miles from Bath and a stunning wedding venue, set in beautiful rural countryside, it is always a pleasure to decorate the Watermill and the Tythe Barn. It’s always a touch nicer to set up wedding flowers at Priston Mill in the summer months when the pathways up to the venue are lined with scented English Lavender.
Not only did we decorate the gazebo outside and line the aisle with buckets of Gypsophilia.. Inside the tables were decorated with log slices topped with three coloured jam jar, each jar filled with one flower type. Gemma wanted the jars on the tables to be filled with the same flowers that were incorporated in her bouquet so each jar had a posy of Gypsophilia, Peonies and Roses with a touch of Lavender.
I thoroughly enjoyed working on this wedding and again, massive congratulations to you both, I hope you had an amazing wedding day!
