After all the hard work we put in to each and every wedding we create, the best bit has to be receiving the professional photos. It is always such an amazing feeling to see the flowers that you have created and have spent months working closely with lots of lovely brides and grooms to ensure that the flowers on their wedding day are perfect.
Emily and Rich got married in October 2015 at Priston Mill, an absolutely beautiful venue that we frequently work with just on the outskirts of Bath. Priston Mill has two venues within their grounds, the Tythe Barn and the Watermill – the two venues are so different to each other when you step inside the door, each with their own picturesque gardens just outside. The lovely couple decided to make the most of the grounds and had a local company come in and set up crazy golf on the gardens to entertain their guests and thank goodness the weather was perfect which can’t be said for the majority of Autumn!
It was so lovely to work with Emily and Rich, who are not originally from Bath but came to have a look at the venue 18 months in advance of their wedding day, from up North and fell in love with the place straight away. It’s nestled in the countryside down a long private drive and is the perfect spot to hold your wedding ceremony/reception if you are looking for somewhere amazing close to Bath/Bristol.
Emily and Rich opted for a rustic style two tier cake from the wonderful Bath Cake Company, as recommended by ourselves (always look and taste incredible!) If you are on the hunt for your wedding cake, Celia and her team are the girls to go to who will deliver and set up your wedding cake on the day. They also featured two small lego characters, of course a bride and groom amongst flowers.
Emily wanted to keep her flowers just purely white, cream and green. She opted for Roses, Calla Lillies, Eucalyptus, Alchemilla Molis, Lisianthus, Stocks and Veronica. A beautiful combination and the style and colours worked really well in the venue.
Five of the stone alcoves in the Tythe Barn were filled with floral arrangements and candles, all provided and set up by us and easy to remove at the end of the day so they could be given to guests as a thank you gift.
It’s always a great pleasure to work with such lovely clients and I wish you the best of luck in the future as Mr and Mrs. x
