Pretty Spring Wedding at Priston Mill
21.04.2017
Claire and Jamie tied the knot at the gorgeous Tythe Barn, Priston Mill a few weeks back and we’ve just received the photos through from their photographer and couldn’t wait to share them!! (Always such a great feeling seeing your work in place on the day!)
Priston Mill is simply idyllic. It is roughly 20 minutes away from our shop on Lansdown Road but as you approach the venue, you could be anywhere. Nestled in the countryside, surrounded by lush green fields, it’s such a special venue that you can truly make your own for your big day.
Claire and Jamie chose to hold their ceremony and reception in the Tythe Barn, a large stone barn with beautiful wooden beams however Priston Mill also have another venue on site, the Watermill. A completely separate building that you can hire out, over 3 floors you really can make it so special. It’s amazing to see so many different styled weddings every time that I provide flowers for couples at Priston and every time they are so beautiful.
I met up with Claire and Jamie roughly 6 months before their wedding day to talk through what they wanted over a cuppa and it was clear from the start that they were happy to be guided through their flowers depending on what flowers were in season in April. Claire wanted to incorporate lots of pastel pinks and ivory flowers, with seasonal textured foliage.

Flowers
Their wedding flowers incorporated the following flowers: Avalanche Rose, Pink Avalanche, Lilac, Ranunculus, Veronica, Lisianthus, Wedding Rose and Eucalyptus – a seriously gorgeous combination even if I do say so myself!
