Zulekha and Scott May 2022

Zulekha and Scott were married at Coombe Lodge in May 2022.

A beautiful, exclusive venue based in North Somerset with gorgeous views over the countryside and Blagdon Lake.

Having previously worked alongside Zulekha in the wedding industry we were delighted when herself and Scott contacted us to create their wedding flowers.  

They chose a colour palette of soft pinks, ivory, blush and white. May is a fantastic month for vast variety and options with flower choices.

Zulekha’s bridal bouquet was a compact posy style, incorporating a stunning variety of roses, including impressive O’hara roses adding a wonderful scent too. Creating variety and shape alongside the roses were stocks, lisianthus, astillbe and complimenting olive, parvifolia and pittosporum foliage.

The 6 bridesmaids and flower girl bouquets, featuring some sensational peonies were created on a slightly smaller scale incorporating the same flowers as Zulekhas bouquet. And of course one special flower girl crown!

Complimenting button holes were created using the most delicate spray roses, lisianthus buds and greenery, tied with ivory ribbon. 

To dress the venue Zulekha and Scott went for a delicate grouping of bud vases on each table alongside tapered candles creating height. Small posies attached with ivory ribbon leading down the aisle to an impressive broken arch creating impact and floral focus, and the perfect backdrop for the I do’s! They then repurposed the posy decorated aisle chairs on their top table for the reception.

Last but not least, a totally gorgeous, three tier cake!  

Beautifully adorned with a few specially chosen peonies, Avalanche, Vendela and spray roses and a touch of Parvifolia eucalyptus.
